We are a Romanian based software development company, founded in 2001. We pride ourselves to be one of the oldest software development companies on the local scene of Iasi. We’re a well-balanced crew of 10 to 20 year veterans with the company and “fresh blood”, or, in other words, a fair ratio of boomers, millennials and gen-Zs.

We build software applications to be used in medicine, in various industries, or in cultural areas of our lives. We always seek to engage in projects and partnerships that challenge us and have a true potential to contribute to a lasting, sustainable future.

Our values are our backbone. We can survive without them, but we cannot stand. When times are tough, we go back to that core of who we are and why we’re doing what we’re doing. In RomSoft, we live by these three guiding principles:

By encouraging continuous learning, initiative, and innovation, we create a space where people can reach their true potential. Our instruments for continuous learning are professional certifications, books, courses & training, learning platforms, open communication and lots of caffeine.

Cultivating quality

We know that quality is often an elusive term and also quite overused. That’s why we measure it through sound reference systems, like our ISO-9001 certified quality management system; or our long-standing Microsoft partnership. Either way, we care deeply about quality in everything we do.

Customer dedicated

We adapt our development process based on customer preferences and project requirements, using methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall.

Depending on each case, project roles can be covered exclusively by the RomSoft team or in tandem with the customer team.

Behind every software idea there’s a real-life problem that somebody is trying to solve. We want to help our customers solve theirs in the most elegant, optimal way – through our user centered approach, quality code, and a custom development process.

Research & development activity

In 2008 we were awarded a “Certification for Scientific Development and Research” by NASR (National Authority for Scientific Research).

Since then, our research and development department took off. We’ve been involved in 13 research projects and gained expertise in areas like e-health, telemedicine, or self-management of diseases as well in new technologies like artificial intelligence, machine learning, and blockchain.
