This position is based in BERLIN, GERMANY

Your responsibilities

• Take ownership of our parts of our web APIs and the React web app
• Improve existing features and build new ones from concept to production
• Help improving system architecture, developer experience and performance
• Proactively influence the product development process and direction
• Collaborate closely with product management, UX and other engineers
• Support us in our effort of internal knowledge sharing with docs, mentoring and more

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in developing web APIs on Node.js and running them on production infrastructure
• 2+ years of experience of developing modern web apps with React
• Fluency in Typescript and modern JavaScript and the toolchain around it
• Knowledge of AWS fundamentals, Terraform and distributed system architecture would be a major plus
• A passion for writing clean and testable code as well as knowledge of software design patterns
• High degree of autonomy and willingness to take ownership of parts of the product
• Fluent in written and spoken English
