Overview
Your mission: The Senior Credit Risk Specialist determines the creditworthiness and the risk associated with a company by analyzing their financial data, examines the financial/payment history and gathers the information needed to mitigate the risk of fail to pay, and finally recommends a course of action for the customer.
What you'll do at UiPath
- Will be the point of contact for D&B on establishing credit limits for new and existing customers. Analyses customers' account history and obtains Dun and Bradstreet credit reports for customers.
- Implements and integrates with NetSuite and SFDC the credit assessment system, acting as an SME for the project requirements.
- Provides advice and recommendations regarding customer accounts identified as having a high risk to become a bad debt.
- Interfaces with a variety of functional areas (sales team, billing teams, collections, and directly with customers) related to disputes, invoice payment terms, contract/PO issues, credit limit extension, etc.
- Participates in the Bad Debt provision calls and prepares the relevant documentation for the monthly Bad Debt analysis.
- Performs collection of past due balances in case of backup needs and provides evidence /support for SOX and audit requirements.
- Creates/updates policies and credit control procedures on a regular basis.
- Builds analysis for business decisions on the accounts placed on credit hold. Mitigates and minimizes the bad debt risk by proactively checking the pipeline and assessing the upcoming orders.
What you'll bring to the team
- University Degree in one of the following areas Finance / Commercial
- Relevant knowledge of order to cash or credit risk management processes
- Strong financial analysis skills, including the ability to assess the financial condition of a company and its ongoing viability.
- 3 to 5 years of credit and collection or financial analysis experience
- Experience working with major accounts and Sr. Executives as well as working with capital goals of the company
- Expert level experience working with Systems and Automation Tools, and business processes required
- Proficiency English language knowledge (oral and written)
- Knowledge of Windows and Microsoft Office (especially Excel) is essential
- High level of planning, organizing and prioritizing skills
