Your responsibilities:
- Provide consecutive interpreting,
- Support various institutions in the US/UK (banks, post offices, medical centers, etc.) which are having difficulties in communicating with foreigners living there due to a language barrier,
- Answer requests and interpret real-time conversations both ways via video call or a phone call, using a dedicated application.
Our requirements:
- Excellent command of Ukrainian and English,
- Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy during interpretation,
- Being able to empathize with the caller,
- You live in Poland and have legally authorized to work in the country,
- Shift availability- mainly in the afternoon and night hours (12:00 p.m.- 7:00 a.m.),
- Have a stable cable internet connection and calm environment to be able to work remotely from home,
- Stress resistant - if one of the speakers is incoherent or upset, especially in emergencies such as 911 calls,
- We require 100% attendance for 4 consecutive weeks of training between 9 a.m. and 6 p.m.
