Job Description

Svexa is looking for a motivated front end developer who is excited to combine the art of UI/UX design and programming. You must enjoy the challenge of working with complex products to create simple, intuitive user interfaces. This role will be a central part of the team developing new products to analyze athlete training data and provide actionable insights. Bonus points if you have prior experience in building modular UIs with reusable components for use in multiple products. You will work cross-functionally, responsible both for maintaining our current applications and creating a road  map for how these should be handled long term.

About you:

• Degree in computer science or a similar/relevant field.
• 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Previous experience solving challenging technical problems, motivation to learn and develop these skills.
• Good communication skills, fluent in conversational and written English.
• Work independently, with great organizational and interpersonal skills.
• Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
• Have remote work as a first choice.
• A deep interest, experience and/or knowledge of sports and exercise.

Responsibilities:

• Create modular design for svexa applications front end
• Maintain and develop front end that can work and scale across iOS, Android and web applications.
• Take the lead in defining road map for application suite front end functionality and UI
• Creation of graphical assets for web and apps
• Assess and document client needs, as an input to UI decisions
• Inform decisions of coding implementation - in house vs outsourced
• Inform the work for application architecture / design / structure underlying front end
• CI/CD (Automatic testing and integrations) for UI applications

Technical Requirements:
