Our client specialises in baling straw for energy production and producing compost primarily for mushroom cultivation. They operate a fleet of baling and chasing equipment that serves North Lincolnshire and East Yorkshire.
What you’ll be doing:
In this role you will be joining a friendly team as a Muck Spreader Operator, our client prides themselves on customer satisfaction, setting very high standards and attention to detail. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating and maintaining muck spreader machinery to distribute manure and other organic fertilizers across fields, ensuring even coverage and promoting soil health. This role requires a keen attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in various field conditions.
Therefore, we are looking for people who:
- Have experience operating much spreader machinery during operation to ensure it functions correctly.
- Have experience executing general farm duties during a busy harvest season.
- Have a keen interest in agriculture and ideally have a couple of years of experience working on a farm.
- Are passionate about the industry and ready to take on exciting new challenges in your work.
- Understand harvest hours is important but regular rest days will be given.
- Can hit the ground running, be flexible and adaptable.
- Can deliver high standards of work and take pride in maintaining their machine.
- Have an eagerness to learn with a strong work ethic, the ability to work in a team is essential.
- Have a full UK driver’s License.

Job Specifics:
Contract Duration: 3 Months, July-September with the possibility to work beyond harvest on maize and potatoes for the right candidate.
