As a Mainframe Developer, you will be responsible for the development, maintenance, and support of a suite of applications. Our clients need an experienced developer to help modernize their mainframe. - Partner with multiple teams to identify and define necessary system enhancements to deploy new products and process improvements.
- Appropriately assess risk when business and technology decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation.
- Provide your expertise and advanced knowledge of application programming, ensuring that solution designs and implementations adhere to engineering best practices and overall architectural blueprint.
- You will also serve as an advisor or coach to mid-level developers and analysts involving the peer review and allocation of work as necessary.
Your Profile
- At least 5 Years’ experience in development
- Experience in agile environments
- Experience with programming languages (COBOL, CICS, JCS)
- Experience with databases (SQL, DB2, VSAM)
- Experience with job schedulers (Zeke, Tivoli)
- Experience with work management tools (Jira, Service Now)
