Cloud Java Developer
Search Talent are partnered with a global technology consultancy to hire a Java Developer on permanent basis. This opportunity offers fully remote working options and training and certifications in Azure cloud. The ideal candidate will have experience with Java Springboot programming, API management and Azure or AWS cloud.
On your day to day, you will be:
· Working as part of DevOps Scrum team and be responsible for designing, developing, implementing and maintaining Java applications in Azure.
· Responsible for creation of Restful APIs in Java
· Responsible for supporting the implementation of Azure products, functions, resources, and capabilities.
· Designing and developing high volume, low latency applications for mission critical systems and delivering high availability and performance.
· Contributing to all phases of the development cycle
The perfect candidate will have:
· Experience in Programming in Java and Spring Boot
· Knowledge of Cloud design concepts and implementations, preferably with Azure or AWS hands-on experience in networking, storage, monitoring, security and compute services, PaaS solutions e.g. App Services, API Management, Azure SQLDB
· Hands-on experience in REST APIs and Service oriented Architecture
· Experience with CICD principles for example Git, Artifacts, Azure DevOps
· Knowledge of using Docker, Kubernetes
· Experience with Agile way of working
