Objectives

-         Keep the systems running

-         Propose, test and implement system architecture changes

Responsabilities

-         Develop and streamline the infrastructure as code

-         Administer the company servers, bare metal and cloud

-         Collaborate with the dev team to adapt the system to future developments

-         Identify and patch security threats

-         Be part of the incident response team

Skills and Qualifications

-         University degree in Computer Science / IT or equivalent work experience

-         Good knowledge on IT System Governance models

-         Knowledge of infrastructure monitoring tools

-         Knowledge of system security (e.g. intrusion detection systems) and data backup/recovery

-         Strong knowledge of performance concepts such as response time, throughput, system resource utilization

-         General knowledge of the following categories of network systems: Multiprocessing, Threading, Distributed systems, Load Balancing and High Availability

-         Strong experience with Kubernetes, Helm, Prometheus / Grafana

-         Experience using Terraform

-         Fluent in Ansible and Docker

-         Experience with distributed data stores such as Cockroach

-         Experience with non-relational data stores such as Mongo
