Requirements:
· Perform all Level 1 and 2 activities above plus conduct multi-step breach and investigative analysis to trace the dynamic activities associated with advanced threats
· Work with SIEM Engineering and other security partners developing and refining correlation rules
· Create and develop SOC processes and procedures working with Level 1, Level 2, and Level 3 analysts
· Drive use case roadmap development and use case validation
· Utilize strong business and technical acumen to develop monitoring and response use cases
· Perform real-time cyber defense incident handling (e.g., forensic collections, intrusion correlation, and tracking, threat analysis, and direct system remediation) tasks to support Incident Response Teams (IRTs) deployed to client sites
· Perform cyber threat analysis towards making threat intelligence actionable
· Add to threat intelligence gathering and security incidents surrounding zero-days and other cyber events
· Act as a subject matter expert in mentoring, threat analysis, and other SOC activities
