As our Senior iOS Engineer on our Mobile team, you play a critical role and are responsible for building, maintaining, and testing our mobile iOS applications. Each member of our small mobile group takes ownership of our products and truly guide the outcomes for our end-users. As we are a highly remote company, the Senior iOS Engineer should be comfortable working asynchronously and must have good communication skills to communicate with engineers and stakeholders across multiple timezones.

Main responsibilities:

• Develop new application features and improve the current application;
• Ownership of the technical release process from start to finish;
• Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems;
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization;
• Able to identify and communicate problems with technology, investigate potential causes, propose solutions/next steps, and proactively inform the team of changes;

Ideal candidate:

• Advanced iOS technical skills;
• Expert knowledge of Swift;
• Experience working with advanced features of the iOS SDK;
• Experience in CI/CD tools and testing frameworks;
• Worked with complex architectural iOS projects;
• Rigorosity with code quality practices and architectural design principles; passion in creating a testable architecture and product;
• Great communication with other technical engineers, understanding of their problems and needs;
• Knowledge mentoring junior engineers to grow their technical talent;
• Comfortable working in Agile teams and its ceremonies;

Nice to have:

• Experience working with privacy/security oriented companies;
• Knowledge of VPN technological intricacies;
