About Project Voyager:


Project Voyager is a nonprofit organization that combines technology partnerships and human intervention for better socioeconomic inclusion of adults in vulnerable contexts. Our main initiative is Jobs for Ukraine, an ecosystem that enables refugees from Ukraine to integrate into host countries through easy access to appropriate work and learning opportunities.

We are currently working with a global community of over 16,000 refugees and 2,000 employers.


Job Summary:


If you are a proactive individual who enjoys getting into the details and making things happen, this is the right place for you. We are looking for someone who is driven by results and takes pride in seeing your work come to life. In this role, you will develop targeted communication campaigns, manage social media platforms, produce visual and written content, newsletters, and reports, and promote events and other organisational activities to ensure the best achievement of project goals. This role requires a blend of strategic thinking and hands-on work. 


You must contribute towards a working environment where everybody feels safe and empowered to do their work. You must demonstrate zero tolerance for sexual exploitation and abuse, harassment including sexual harassment, sexism, gender inequality, discrimination, and abuse of power. We are looking for someone who values integrity, resilience, diversity, freedom, and humbleness, among others.


This is a full-time position.


Responsibilities:


  • Communication Strategies: Develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies to promote our platform and our organization's activities and raise awareness about our work. 
  • Content Creation: Create compelling content for various channels including the website, social media, newsletters, and reports to effectively communicate our mission and impact. Post updates about events, open vacancies, success stories, and other relevant content across various social media channels to increase our online presence.
  • Platform Content Management: Manage and keep up to date platform content for both employers and candidates.
  • Employers Attraction and Engagement: Execute strategies to highlight the benefits of hiring from our community to employers and help create new job opportunities. Support the employers team reach their objectives.
  • Success Stories: Communicate the success stories from our community in the workforce to showcase the positive impact of our partnerships with the private and public sector.
  • Media Relations: Cultivate relationships with media outlets, influencers, and partner organisations to maximize our reach and visibility.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate closely with program teams to gather stories, data, and testimonials from refugees and others in our community and incorporate them into communication materials.
  • Event Management & Communication: Assist in organizing events by developing the best communication and promotional strategies to maximize engagement and participation. Participate in and promote our events on social media and other channels. Handle relationships with events' stakeholders.
  • Metrics Analysis: Monitor and analyze communication metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of our messaging and outreach efforts, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
  • Email Communication: Develop, create, and send regular newsletters to keep our stakeholders informed about our activities, events, and updates.



Skills and Qualifications:


Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or any related field;

Proven experience of 3 - 5 years in a similar role;

Exceptional writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail;

Proficiency in digital communication tools and platforms such as email marketing software (e.g., Mailerlite/ Mailchimp), web content management systems (e.g., WordPress), and video conferencing platforms (e.g., Google Meet, Zoom, Microsoft Teams) to effectively engage and reach target audiences;

Strong project management and organizational skills;

Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple priorities and deadlines with efficiency and composure;

Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities;

Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse teams;

Fluent in Romanian, with a strong proficiency in English;
