Job Description

Main Objective:

To place and ensure the necessary merchandise is on the shelves, according to company standards and goals (restocking, organizing, displaying, checking, labeling, posting, verifying expiration dates, maintaining hygiene, and monitoring inventory to place optimal orders), all while meeting customer needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Ensure an appropriate volume of merchandise is consistently available on shelves.
• Organize shelves by product category and type.
• Display merchandise in an aesthetic, attractive, and customer-accessible manner.
• Adjust product labels and promotional signage according to current needs.
• Replace old promotional signs with new ones as promotions change.
• Maintain hygiene standards for all displayed products.
• Ensure the validity (expiration dates) of all displayed products.
• Restock shelves by bringing goods from the warehouse.
• Monitor shelves and replenish them based on sales activity.
• Compare, sort, and inspect merchandise for quality and accuracy.
• Place orders for products that need to be restocked on shelves.
• Track and analyze previous day’s sales to adjust stock accordingly.
• Respond to customer inquiries and provide support as needed.
