We are a large specialty store for dance supplies in Berlin-Kreuzberg and are looking for a dedicated sales person with dance experience.
Our focus is on competent and friendly advice to our customers. These are mostly amateur dancers, but also professional dancers as well as theaters, ballet- and dance-schools throughout Germany.
It is important that you enjoy dealing with customers and that you enjoy passing on your knowledge. It is not about maximum sales figures, but about giving professionally correct advice so that every customer goes home with the right product and, because of the good experience with us, is happy to come back and recommend us to others.
Friendliness, flexibility and above all humor at work are important to us, so that the atmosphere in the team is also right.
In addition to our established store, we also operate an online store. The processing of webshop orders is as much a part of your job as the acceptance and further processing of goods deliveries, goods labeling, inventories.
We work with merchandise management software that is linked to the online store. And of course, cashiering is also part of the job.
You will receive extensive training in the software and all logistical processes. Getting to know our product portfolio is an important prerequisite for being able to provide experienced advice. Here, too, we support you with our many years of experience.
The command of the German language is of course desirable, but not mandatory. You should be able to speak English in any case, the dance scene is international.
Ideally, you have professional dance experience or have been dancing for a long time as an intensive hobby, be it classical ballet or ballroom dancing.
Experience in pointe work is desirable. We do a lot of pointe shoe fittings, some directly at ballet schools.
Do you bring enthusiasm and experience for dancing, as well as an open nature? You enjoy working with people, a collegial interaction is important to you? Do you use the advantages of digital technology without reservations, and do you adapt well to new work processes?
The working hours are Monday to Friday between 10 a.m. and 8 p.m., Saturday between 11 a.m. and 7 p.m.. We are looking primarily for the late shift, at least 30 hours/week or full-time.
Does this suit you? Then we look forward to receiving your application.
You will find a colorful team with a great sense of humor. An open ear for questions or problems at any time. Extensive training and appreciation of your work is a matter of course.
You will work in one of the most beautiful stores in the city, located on the mezzanine floor, flooded with light, with a wide view. And good coffee comes with it.
