The team is looking for an enthusiastic Sr. Software Test Engineer, who will be a key participant in creating a Quality First culture, develop, troubleshoot, test, and debug software components and test automation projects of moderate scope and complexity. The role shares responsibility for planning and implementation with team members and assumes increasing responsibility as a solid technical contributor in a group; applies to understand how test automation projects get developed, utilized, and maintained, how projects are planned and executed, and how systems engineering is done. The role may work on technical solutions in a particular area of specialty.

Key Responsibilities:

• As a Senior SDET (Software Development Engineer Test), you will work with the development and program management teams to define, develop, and execute test cases that will allow us to perform validation targeting the hardening of our software and its components
• Ensure the overall software functionality remains intact with the implementation of new features
• Understand customer specific deployment requirements and design tests to increase confidence in advance of upcoming deployments
• Analyze various components of the Bold360 AI system, collaborate with various development teams, and use your technical expertise to investigate, troubleshoot and verify software defects and other technical issues
• Mentor others on best practices for test automation, CI/CD
• Under peer review, designs, documents, develops and executes reusable and maintainable automated scripts and functional and system-level testing to verify the functionality, accuracy, and efficiency of software changes across various platforms
• Establishes and maintains thorough and accurate documentation of all work; may assist with technical specification documentation and review
• Analyzes testing results; identifies, isolates, interprets, and reports defects
• Conducts smaller development projects independently; performs specific portions of broader projects managed by a supervisor 
• Participates in feature planning and represents quality aspect with a strong quality mindset
• Creates test case documentation for the ongoing projects
• Manually executes test runs in case of need
• Makes recommendations for improvement of applications

Qualifications

Minimum Requirements:

• 4+ years of hands-on Developing and Executing Automated testing scripts by Selenium Web driver with Java
• 4+ years of experience in QA in an agile software organization
• Strong skills in Design & implementation of Automation Frameworks
• Knowledge of professional software engineering practices & best practices for the full software development life cycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control merge management, build processes, testing, and operations
• Ability to design and implement integration test cases and acceptance tests at the API and UI level for Web-based applications
• Ability to reason about product quality while producing software requirements for features, requirements for system qualities (including performance and security), product design, software design, estimates, algorithms, source code, test plans, unit test harnesses, software and system performance data, software product information and bug fixes
• • Ability to contribute constructively to the review of recent project activity and working practices
• Experience in version control tools like GitHub/Bitbucket
• Excellent oral and written communication with effective presentation skills including possessing a dynamic and "can do" attitude
