Dreamstime is a US-based agency, now hiring for its Romanian software development company.
Apart from solid technical expertise and experience, we're looking for a self-motivated, dynamic, adaptable and friendly enthusiast who thrives in a fast-paced work environment. Good team player, problem solver and ability to work with deadlines are a plus.
As a web programmer in a company with more than 20 years of experience on the international market, your responsibilities will include developing, improving and optimizing the backend and the frontend programming part of complex web applications.
Requirements:
- Software development experience; Experience in working with both Windows and Unix environments; BS degree in Computer Science or a related discipline consists an advantage; PHP: advanced knowledge of version 7 and above (both procedural and OOP); MySQL: strong proficiency in usage and management, experience with recent versions of MySQL, good understanding of database optimization, knowledge of the limitations of MySQL and their workarounds; HTML/CSS/Javascript: proficiency with fundamental front-end languages, know JavaScript (and/or JS frameworks) well enough to create reusable code that creates a rich user-experience (E.g., AJAX, DOM Manipulation, etc.); GIT: flow and usage; Experience in managing high volumes of data; Working with remote teams; Good problem-solving skills.
It would be great if you can show us relevant examples of projects you've worked on.
We'll appreciate your ability to:
- Adapt to on the fly to specification changes, which may occur anytime during development; Actively help define the roadmap for our applications; Write high quality code that supports both existing and future functionality; Self-manage workflow and tasks when required.
Initiative and autonomy are ++.
