Central Europe Technologies is looking for an Expert in Middleware in the frame of his major project to move his Datacenters from Local location to a Central location (headquarter)

The Expert in the Middleware area shall have the following base skill and experience profile, in order to grant the effectiveness of the operations:

RESPONSIBILITIES

Participate to the Set-up and the Applications moves operations:

• Move (install and configure) web-/ middleware applications based on RedHat Enterprise Linux, Apache Tomcat,
• RedHat EAP, Apache httpd, Weblogic, ( … ) from local to the headquarter
• Configure, adopt and integrate automation-solutions based on bash/shell-scripts, perl, ansible
• Troubleshooting the installed application(servers) with using tcpdump, jstack, and other os- and java based
• Analyzation tools
• Integrate the moved application-servers into our monitoring system (Icinga), adopt system-checks and document new
• enhancements
• Adopt system-documentation in cooperation with the corresponding key players/application managers

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

At least 5 years of experience in Middleware activities, with a good knowledge in:

• RedHat Enterprise Linux
• Java Based Applications
• Monitoring (Icinga/Nagios)
• Skripting (Bash/Shell, Python, Perl, Ansible-Automation)
• Applicationserver/Webserver: JBoss EAP, Apache httpd, Apache Tomcat, Weblogic

TECHNICAL BACKGROUND

• Previous experience with migration projects

SOFT SKILLS

• Problem solving and cooperative attitude, technically and operationally
• Good interpersonal skills to manage several types of stakeholders and providers
