Who are we looking for?

• You’ll be part of a small engineering team (max. 9 people) with different roles – one Analyst, one Architect and multiple DevOps engineers at the very least
• You will be guided by experienced test automation engineers who have built the test automation framework you will be working with.
• Together with the team, you will set into place platform testing automation using tools like: JMeter, Selenium, Junit, Jenkins.
• You’ll learn how to implement behavior driven development, using Cucumber.
• Your team’s focus is to get every piece of code or user story tested automatically meaning: Designing and writing test automation scripts, Using test automation frameworks, Enabling quicker application deployments and verifying functionality, performance and scalability, Investigating software bugs as result of testing, Working closely together with the quality assurance lead
• You can imagine it will be complex and challenging, but that’s your ‘energizer’.
• You speak English fluently, knowledge of Dutch or French is a plus.
• You are flexible in the workplace which could be at the customer site, in one of the Cegeka locations or working @ home.

What do you need to succeed?

• You have a Bachelor or Master degree
• You have a natural curiosity towards test automation engineering.
• You have basic experience with one or more programming languages (Java, python, JavaScript, Golang).
• You are eager to learn more about how to conduct test automation code reviews.
• Once you get a hang of test automation engineering you evangelize test automation best practices to the entire engineering organization.
• You are interested in learning to work with infrastructure automation tools such as Terraform and Ansible.
