We are filling a number of positions, however this one is for a stone cutter and polisher. This job entails, moving and cutting of rock - mostly jade and polishing the rock. This can be a labour intensive job and very physical. In Jade City we work with the jade that we have mined and create things like headstones, bookends, cutting boards, clocks, coasters etc. We sell the products in the Jade Store that we make onsite. We also sell just the raw jade itself. We are hoping to find candidates who are creative and will come up with some of their own creations. We also have a carving studio, where more fine/detailed products can be created. We are willing to teach the candidates how to use all the tools, cut and polish jade. There is an opportunity of making commission on top of your wage.
