Job Type: Full-time / Part-time / Contractual

Key Responsibilities:

• Design & Development: Craft sophisticated PCB layouts for a variety of retail automation devices, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
• Collaboration: Work closely with the hardware engineering and software teams to ensure seamless integration of PCB designs with device components and firmware.
• Simulation & Testing: Perform PCB simulations to predict electromagnetic interference and compatibility. Collaborate with the testing team to identify and rectify potential design flaws.
• Optimization: Continually iterate on designs to achieve enhanced performance, reduced costs, and increased longevity.
• Documentation: Maintain detailed and organized documentation of design processes, decisions, and revisions.
• Stay Updated: Remain abreast of the latest trends, tools, and best practices in PCB design and related technologies.
• Compliance: Ensure all PCB designs comply with industry standards and regulations.

Required Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience in PCB design, preferably in the retail automation or related sectors.
• Proficiency with PCB design tools such as Altium Designer, Eagle, or KiCad.
• Strong understanding of EMC/EMI considerations and best practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Strong problem-solving skills and meticulous attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with IoT devices and their integration.
• Knowledge of the retail automation landscape.
• Familiarity with European electronics standards and regulations.
