SIA "Baltic Consultancy" in cooperation with a consortium of Turkish-Uzbek companies is urgently looking for engineers-designers in the field of water supply and sewerage in the project "Development of a detailed design and estimate documentation for construction works by water supply system" (a total of 26 water supply or sewerage networks, water extraction, UAS and WWTP facilities) in Bukhara, Uzbekistan, financed by the international donor - Asian Infrastructure Investment Bank (AIIB).

Main place of work: in the design office of the company in Tashkent, with periodic trips to Bukhara.

Covering expenses: air ticket, living according to European standards in a medium-level 1-room apartment, local transport costs, travel insurance.

Senior Design Engineer in Water Supply and Sewage

Requirements:

– at least 10 years of experience in the field of water supply and sewerage

– experience in working with Russian GOST and SNIP standards;

– good knowledge of Russian and English, as all documentation is in Russian and English (written, spoken).

General roles and responsibilities: During his / her work he / she will perform the following tasks: I. Develop construction drawings, consisting of: layouts and longitudinal sections of water supply networks, WDU and others; coordinate with local engineers in the regions; II. Prepare technical specifications and other documents required for the preparation of tender documents; estimate quantities and prepare draft quantity accounts (BoQs) for further analysis and use by a quantitative survey expert; III. Check that the drawings are in accordance with the required national standards and regulations; and propose amendments as needed; VI. Provide the necessary materials and assist in the preparation of drawings and other documents required for the seminars to the future operators of “Bukhoro suv taminoti” LLC, as appropriate; V. Provide input data as needed to prepare project results / reports VI. Review underground surveys and soil tests to ensure that adequate and correct design data is obtained. VII. Perform or revise, if necessary, hydraulic calculations for the water supply network;

Junior Design Engineer in Water Supply and Sewage

Requirements:

− at least 2 years of experience in the field of water supply and sewerage design is desirable

− at least intermediate knowledge of Russian and English, as all documentation is in Russian and English (writing - must write without mistakes at least with a proofreader, conversational language).
