Key Areas of Responsibility

·        Set up, configure, administer and recover systems effectively and efficiently.

·        Keep the systems up to date against any security, vulnerability and risk framework of the organization.

·        Resolve complex and/or critical infrastructure incidents and problems.

·        Define and implement best practices for all facets of IT including H/W, S/W, security and storage.

·        Monitor the performance and availability of the systems.

·        Communicate effectively technical information clearly and concisely to senior level technical staff, engineers or vendors during troubleshooting or escalations.

Required Skills & Experience

·        Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or relevant field.

·        Excellent skills in Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL), scripting and system automation (Perl, Bash, Red Hat Satellite, Ansible etc.).

·        Very good Red Hat (Jboss EAP, DataGrid, Fuse) middleware family administration and configuration.

·        Strong Experience in containerized environments (RH OpenShift platform, Docker and Kubernetes).

·        Very Good skills in administering, configuring and setting up Hadoop Environments.

·        Excellent skills in MS Windows 2016, scripting and system automation (PowerShell etc.).

·        Familiarity with virtualization technologies (i.e. Vmware).

·        Strong experience in administering, configuring and setting up SAP/ SAP Hana Environments (SAP Basis Role).

·        Strong experience in administering Cloud infrastructure (i.e. Azure, Azure Stack).

·        Strong communication skills, both written and spoken in Greek and English.,

 Preferred Skills

·        Master’s Degree in Computer Science.

·        Professional certifications (e.g. RHCSA or RHCE, ITIL, PMP, Microsoft & AWS & Azure, Azure Administration Essentials, MCSE, SAP, Citrix, VMware).

·        Professional certifications in Hadoop Environments will be highly evaluated.

·        DevOps Essentials will be highly evaluated.
