Key Areas of Responsibility

·        Develop software applications (online and batch frameworks) in a large computer system environment (Main Frames).

·        Cooperate with developers, designers and testers to implement effective and efficient technical solutions through the iterative approach reducing

·        the delivery time

·        Develop programs and services, utilizing the provided methodology, approach and technology

·        Identify and resolve issues that arise from the production environment

·        Close cooperation with IT operation team

 Required Skills & Experience

·        Bachelor Degree in Computer Science or related field.

·        1-3 years of relevant experience working as Software Developer.

·        1-3 years of relevant experience working directly with software development teams.

·        Knowledge of Database/SQL, RDBMS Data Modeling, RDBMS Best Practices, Mainframe programming, Cobol Programming.

·        Understanding of project management and software development cycle.

·        Experience in Agile development methodology.

·        Knowledge of business processes in Banking.

·        Knowledge of debugging tools and methodologies.

·        Proactiveness.

·        Problem solving, documentation and organisational skills.

·        Strong communication skills, both written and spoken in Greek and English.

·        Competent teamwork ability.

·        Having analytical thinking abilities.

·        Ability to plan technical solutions.

·        Being self motivated and deadline oriented.

·        Having a competent judgment to inform problems to superiors on time
