We are looking for a brilliant Network Engineer to work in Belgium.

What are your responsibilities as a Network Engineer:

• Identifying and developing opportunities for the delivery of benefits to clients through the use of specific technologies and where appropriate, those of third parties;

• Ensuring a good fit between order content and their product / execution capability by guiding scope definition throughout the sales process and participating in the setting of appropriate pursuit strategies;

• Creating continuity between sales and execution process by ensuring a common understanding of requirements between client, sales and execution;

• Evaluating and advising on technical and commercial risks of potential and actual business during the sales and execution phases;

• Assisting in achieving long term sustainability and effective implementation by helping to define and implement best practice in throughout project pursuit and implementation;

• Developing and presenting strategies and material to support business development.

As a Network Engineer:

• You have a degree in an engineering discipline, network and computing, electronics control and instrumentation;

• You have more than 5 years experience with network architecture, DCS, field implementation;

• Comprehensive knowledge on network architectures and administration, core network infrastructure components, wireless technology and fieldbus;

• Ideally you have a Cisco CCNA or higher with a specialisation;

• Good knowledge on Information technology (IT), Cyber Security, cloud computing, virtualisation, programming software, operating systems, Active Directory, Patch Management, Backup and Recovery;

• You have experience on project management, scheduling, engineering, procurement, team coordination and sales support;

• You are fluent in English;

• In case that you have knowledge of industrial automation systems it’s an asset.
