We are searching for a IT Specialist with interest in Linux for a high tech company.
Job description:
• You support, manage, and follow up on the Linux environment.
• The IT Specialist performs the day-to-day maintenance activities by verifying following topics: systems monitoring and alerts, systems logs, scripts output and technical mailbox and backup jobs.
• You provide 1st line support for the IT infrastructure and services.
• You take part in building, upgrading, and maintaining servers and systems.
• You also assist with the Release Cycle of the in-house developed production systems, operate and guarantee their availability.
The ideal candidate:
For this position in the region of Leuven we are looking for:
- Candidates with a bachelor degree in an IT related education (or equal by experience);
- Preferably, 5 years experience in a Linux environment, but you are also open to work in other environments;
- Experience with CentOS & Redhat operating systems;
- Proactive, can-do mentality and interested in learning new things;
- Fluent in English;
- Following knowledge/experiences are a plus in your application: Virtual box, Windows server, Active directory, Windows 10, VM ware, Docker, NetApp Storage, Cybersecurity.
