What you will do
- Work on high-scalable products with PHP7 hosted on a cloud-based infrastructure
- Build and provide internal & external RESTful APIs that ensure a fast & frictionless updating of our backend products
- Develop multiple backend platforms ranging from high throughput to maximum faultlessness
- Constantly challenge and expand your knowledge of reliable software architecture, programming and new technologies
- Work with agile processes that are adapted to the team’s and project’s needs
- Exchange your knowledge with other developers and be part of our ABOUT YOU TECH community
- As a Lead Backend Developer (m/f/d):
- Lead a world-class team of engineers and collaborate with product managers, QA’s and designers to ship new components and features
- Build complex & high scalable technical solutions in close cooperation with the Tech Lead and the Product Lead as well as the product manager
Who you are
- Very good & MVP-focused coding skills in PHP7 of minimum 3 years
- Practical & recent experience with MVC Frameworks like Laravel, Symfony, Zend or Yii2
- Solid technical understanding of RESTful API’s
- Good background in building scalable distributed products and practical experience with Caching
- Previous experience with handling & querying relational databases (e.g. MySQL, MariaDB or PostgreSQL)
- Passionate about writing well-structured, efficient and maintainable code, actively keeping the quality of the code base in check
- Comfortable working in an English-speaking & agile environment
- As a Lead Backend Developer (m/f/d):
- 5+ years of experience in developing high-scalable software products in PHP7
- Comfortable with people management topics and have worked in a leading role in a fast-changing environment before
