Your responsibilities:
- Provide consecutive interpreting,
- Support various institutions in the US/UK (banks, post offices, medical centers, etc.) which are having difficulties in communicating with foreigners living there due to a language barrier,
- Answer requests and interpret real-time conversations both ways via a phone call, using a dedicated application.
Our requirements:
- Excellent command of Ukrainian and English- both mandatory,
- Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy during interpretation,
- Being able to empathize with the caller,
- You live in Poland and are legally authorized to work in the country,
- Availability to work from 14:00 to 1:00 Monday-Friday, and from 14:00 to 7:00 Saturday-Sunday (full or part-time),
- Have a stable cable internet connection and a calm environment to be able to work remotely from home,
- Stress resistant - if one of the speakers is incoherent or upset, especially in emergencies such as 911 calls.
