Your responsibilities:
- Provide consecutive interpreting,
- Support various institutions in the US/UK (banks, post offices, medical centers, etc.) which are having difficulties in communicating with foreigners living there due to a language barrier,
- Answer requests and interpret real-time conversations both ways via a phone call, using a dedicated application.
Our requirements:
- Excellent command of Russian and English- both mandatory,
- Excellent listening, retention, and note-taking skills to maintain a high level of accuracy during interpretation,
- Being able to empathize with the caller,
- You live in Poland and are legally authorized to work in the country,
- Shift availability- you can work full-time or part-time (at least 4 hours a day), mainly from 3:00 p.m. to 1:00 a.m.,
- Have a stable cable internet connection and a calm environment,
- Stress resistant - if one of the speakers is incoherent or upset, especially in emergencies such as 911 calls.
