We are recruiting a Local IT Technician to solve customer support issues on-site, at our customer's premises in Waterloo, working for a top employer in the financial industry. You will be responsible for providing the VIP support for all on-site employees and you will work along a team of skilled and motivated technicians! We are looking for an extremely proactive IT technician with a keen interest in technology, who is able to make suggestions for improvements and offer an opinion on new products or services.

Job Responsibilities of the Local IT Technician
· Provide IT support for Microsoft and Apple operating systems and respond to computer related service and trouble calls.
· (Desktops/Laptops) - Hardware and Software Troubleshooting
· Diagnose printer and other peripheral device failures and implement solutions
· Support of key engineering applications at use within the business
· Receive and provide required equipment (Install and set up equipment, cables, outlets and all other hardware) IMAC (installs/moves/add/changes)
Required competence, experience and education
· Advanced technical skills across Microsoft and Apple operating systems
· Experienced with Apple Products (MacOS/IpadOS/IOS), proficient in Microsoft Office 2013/2016/Office365 Suite, Teams/Skype/Zoom
· Understanding of Antivirus Protection Software, and VPN Solutions, Networking configuration and management skills
· Advanced Print Management solution support and knowledge and Audio visual and conference room tools and technology experience
· Excellent Verbal and Written Communication Skills [English]
